Saipan World Resort, MVA tie up for TV promotion

The location hunting team from KBS arrived on Saipan for scoping out the filming locale of the popular Sunday Morning show “Go! Dream Team” Season 2.

The scenery prompted KBS location hunting group to select Saipan as its next destination for filming as this program is based on top celebrities face off in an obstacle course competition filled with laughter.

Saipan World Resort and the Marianas Visitors Authority welcomed the location planning group from Nov. 2-5 and a series of locations have been visited such as Saipan World Resort’s Wave Jungle, Managaha, Monster Truck off road track and experiences, parasailing, island site seeing, and various other locations around the island that would best fit the obstacle course criteria for the program.

“With a viewership of 8 percent in total country population of 49 million, this program will only enhance the image and hopefully boost our tourism from Korea,” stated Tae Won Park, sales & marketing director, Saipan World Resort.

“We are hopeful that this exposure of Saipan in Korea will allow for more visitors to our island and through this program, Saipan will be seen as a promising vacation destination,” Park added.

Saipan World Resort is expected to sponsor the shooting crew on meals and lodging while on location. Airfare and local activities are coordinated by the Marianas Visitors Authority and its members.
