(Commonwealth Utilities Corporation) — There will be scheduled power service interruptions on Dec. 5, 6, and 10, 2024.

Thursday, Dec. 5

• Power service interruption time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• Areas affected: Beach Road

• Water wells affected: None

• Wastewater facilities affected: S-10

•  Traffic lights affected: None

• Purpose: To allow CUC linemen to replace a 45-foot wooden power pole with a 45-foot concrete pole.

Friday, Dec. 6

• Power service interruption time: 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

• Areas affected: Chalan Laulau, Gualo Rai, As Falipe, Sugar King, and Chinatown

• Water wells affected: GR-4, GR-5, GR-151, GR-154, and the As Falipe Booster Station

Customers in Gualo Roi may experience low to no water pressure based on tank levels.

• Wastewater facilities affected: W-5 and W-6

• Traffic lights affected: Quartermaster (Middle Road) and Gualo Rai

•  Purpose: To allow CUC linemen to replace an air break switch.

Tuesday, Dec. 10

• Power service interruption time: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• Areas affected: Garapan (Kalachucha Ave, Lirio St., and Bukiki Ave.)

• Water wells affected: None

• Wastewater facilities affected: None

• Traffic lights affected: None

•  Purpose: To allow CUC linemen to replace two 45-foot wooden power poles with 45-foot concrete poles, replace a 35-foot wooden power pole with a 35-foot concrete pole, and reinstall transformers.
