(Commonwealth Utilities Corp.) — There will be a scheduled water service interruption on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Capital Hill.
Purpose: To allow CUC’s contractor, USA Fanter, to connect a new flow meter/valve station at the Capital Hill water tank to existing distribution lines.
Customers in the area will experience low to no water pressure between the specified hours. Allow one to two hours for the water lines to pressurize fully.
The Agag Booster Pumps and Electrical System Upgrade Project is funded by the Environmental Protection Agency. The project aims to rehabilitate and upgrade existing booster pumps and electrical systems by installing a pitless booster pump system with variable frequency drives, upgrading the electrical controls, and installing flow meters and control valves.
CUC appreciates the public’s cooperation and understanding as it works to ensure reliable service for its customers.
