Areas affected: San Jose Village, Subdivision, District, Broadway Estates/Housing, Carolinas Agricultural areas, and portions of Marpo Valley.

Purpose: To allow CUC’s contractor, Hong Ye Construction, to cap the existing 10-inch waterline and gate valve as part of the Carolinas Heights Waterline Replacement Project.

Allow one to two hours for the water lines to pressurize fully.

About the project

The Carolinas Heights Waterline Replacement Project is funded by the U.S. Department of the Interior – Office of Insular Affairs and CUC. The project involves installing a new waterline, service laterals, meters, gate valve assemblies, and two fire hydrants to improve the island’s water system, ensuring residents have access to safe, reliable, and sustainable water service.

CUC appreciates the public’s cooperation and understanding as it works to ensure reliable service for its customers.
