The purpose of the scheduled water interruption is to allow CUC’s contractor, Hong Ye Construction, to cut and cap the existing 4-inch PVC pipe that connects the KG-131 well and the transmission line to Kagman I for a more reliable water system. The project will take place at the corner of Chacha Road, Kagman.
This work is part of CUC’s Kagman Waterline and Booster Rehabilitation Replacement Project funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of the Interior.
For the safety of the men and women at the jobsite, CUC advises the general public to exercise caution or take alternative routes when traveling through the area.
