Sonia Siwa of PDM Promoters Inc. yesterday said six schools had already confirmed their participation: last year’s grand prize winner Golden Harvest International School, Koblerville Elementary School, Green Meadow School, William S. Reyes Elementary School, Dandan Elementary School and last year’s third placer Joshua Generation International Academy.
“We have 15 available Christmas trees for decoration so we are inviting more schools to register now,” Siwa said.
All Christmas trees will be provided by PDM Promoters Inc. and they will be decorated on Nov. 30 and judged on Dec. 1. Winners will be announced on Dec. 15.
As in the previous years, the Christmas tree decorations must be recycled materials such as soda cans, Styrofoam, milk cartons among other things.
Last year, Golden Harvest International School won the $5,000 first prize while Oleai Elementary School received the second prize of $3,000.
