Science Technology Electronics and Mathematics Fair starts today

The STEM fair is an annual event that allows students to showcase their experiments and projects.

Oleai Elementary School teacher and one of the STEM fair organizers Teresita Reyes said today marks the third time PSS will hold this event.

But this will be the first time it  will be called the Science Technology, Electronics and Mathematics Fair and the first time private schools are participating, she added.

Mount Carmel School and Marianas Baptist Academy have joined the competition.

Reyes said the highlights of the event are the science projects and experiments made by students from kindergarten to 12th grade.

PSS is inviting parents and other members of the community to attend the three-day event.

Today will be the registration day for all schools participating in the event. Tomorrow morning will be the judging of the projects while the afternoon will be an open house for parents.

The awards ceremony are scheduled for Sunday.
