SDA students get ready for school play

The play is about Alex, 15 years old.

He used to love Christmas but the shine has left his favorite holiday.

He sees Christmas as nothing more than an over-hyped, greedy, present-grabbing time of year.

He eventually sees the light through his friend Angela and started believing again.

The play is about giving and believing in the spirit of Christmas.

SDA students are excited about the upcoming production and they are involved in every aspect of the play — the set designs, costumes, cast and crew.

Grace Barro an eighth grader, is part of set design team.

“I am excited to be involved and working on set design and to have this opportunity to be creative” she said.

Yunic Miraflor, a 10th grader, is involved in costumes design.

“I look forward to cheer our classmates who are acting, to see the costumes we designed, and to be able to sing on stage,” she said.

Joy Lacorte another 10th grader, said she wants “to see this program come to life after all of our hard work. I am also excited to be able to share the true meaning of Christmas season.”
