Each checkpoint will last at least 75 minutes at each location.
These activities are part of the Department of Public Safety’s efforts to deter, detect, and ensure that all vehicle occupants are wearing seat belts, car seats, booster seats and or proper passenger safety belts and devices.
In addition, the traffic officers will be conducting highway criminal interdictions, saturation patrol, aggressive driver interdictions, and laser technology (speed detection) activities.
