Lt. Gov. Timothy P. Villagomez, who was the acting governor last Friday after Gov. Benigno R. Fitial left for Seoul, South Korea, said Dela Cruz is on leave from March 19 to 29.
Also last Friday, Villagomez named Robert Schrack as the acting finance secretary.
Finance Secretary Eloy Inos joined the governor in Korea.
Inos is the governor’s running mate.
He is planning to resign soon to focus on their campaign.
He said he will leave his cabinet post as soon as the governor finds the right man for the Department of Finance.
