Sentencing of former police officer, jail guard, fake Viagra seller may be rescheduled

The continuance will allow the probation officer to complete the presentence report investigations for former Police Officer Florencio Quitugua Richards, former Division of Youth Services jail guard Tyron Farley Reyes Fitial, and Wei Yuan Ou, according to court documents.

The Federal Probation Office asked the U.S. District Court for the NMI to move the following sentencing hearings:

• Richards, from July 12 to July 22, 2011

• Wei Yuan Ou, from July 15 to July 22, 2011 

• Fitial, from July 21 to Sept. 12, 2011

Richards has accepted the charge of conspiracy to distribute d-methamphetamine hydrochloride, distribution of “ice,” and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Wei Yuan Ou pleaded guilty to the charge of misbranding of a food product, Viagra pills.

Fitial has accepted the charge of one count of enticement of a minor.

Fitial is detained at the CNMI Department of Corrections, while the federal court allowed Richards and Wei Yuan Ou to be on pretrial release.
