The Soroptimist International sponsors are inviting all students ages 4 to 18 to design the organization’s new logo for its 4th annual “Live Your Dream” campaign.
The mission of the campaign is to inspire women and girls “to live their dreams and encourage them to pass their good fortune to others.”
The sponsors of the contest are the Soroptimist International of the Americas, its local charter, the Soroptimist International of Guam and Soroptimist International of the Marianas.
The all-volunteer organization is made up of men and women whose mission is to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities, according to a press release from SIG.
Each student’s design must include the words “Live Your Dream” and reflect the campaign’s mission. The artwork will be judged on two levels — local and national — and if chosen at the local level, the winning artwork in each category will then be entered in the national competition. Categories will be divided into different age groups. The deadline is on Nov. 14.
Schools must collect artwork from students and send them in one package to Soroptimist International of Guam, Attn: LYD Art Contest, P.O. Box 952, Hagåtña, Guam, 96932.
