THE CNMI Scholarship Office said its Graduate School Student Loan program is no longer available “effective immediately.”
In a media release, the office said “budgetary constraints” led to the CNMI Scholarship Office board of directors’ decision to suspend the loan program.
“The Graduate School Student Loan is based on the availability of funds, and with the current financial state of the CNMI we are unable to provide financial assistance to [Graduate School Student Loan] applicants at this time,” the release stated.
It added that “once the funding [is] available, the suspension will be lifted.”
