Gao was placed on six months’ probation and was ordered to pay a $100 fine, a $25 court assessment fee and a probation fee.
It was not known if the Attorney General’s Office charged the underage person who bought alcohol from Gao.
Chief Prosecutor Michael Ernest represented the government, while Chief Public Defender Adam Hardwicke served as counsel for Gao.
