Team Campeones won the 2025 Rocball Championship Title of the Northern Marianas Islands
Team Campeones won the Rocball 2025 Championship Title in the fourth game of the playoffs against team Divas in a best of five game championship series on Thursday March 27 in the MHS Gym. Team Divas won the first game 40 to 34. Team Campeones won the second game 39 to 29. Team Campeones and team Divas split the first and second sets of game three with Divas winning the first set 25 to 23 and Team Campeones winning second set 20 to 15 which was enough points to win the second game 43 to 40.
In the fourth and final game, team Divas won the first set again with a score of 19 to 13 and had a 6 point lead going into the second and final set. And, just as it was in game three, team Campeones came back and won the second set with enough points to outscore team Divas and win the game and 37 to 33.
In Rocball’s multiple point scoring system, team Campeones dominated the championship games with 17 two point aces to Divas 10 aces, team Campeones scored 2 two point xunks serves and team Divas didn’t score any xunks, team Campeones spike down a served ball for the only 1 point jam of the series, and team Campeones scored five 3 points goals to the Divas 3 three point goals.
