‘The Enchantress’ to be screened tomorrow

Walter Manglona, Aging Office program coordinator and producer of the movie, said yesterday all tickets had already been sold.

The screening will start at 7 p.m. but theater will be opened to the public as early as 6:30 p.m.

At least 27 senior citizens with their chaperones from Tinian will see the movie, Manglona said.

The other screening dates are March 21, 27 and 28.

Manglona said they can  arrange for another schedule if more people request to see the film.

“The manamko’ are very excited,” he said, adding that the community can expect very good acting performances.

Some of the scenes in the movie were suggested by the manamko’ themselves, said Manglona who directed the one-hour film.

He is hoping that the people will enjoy watching the movie.

“The manamko’ really enjoyed doing the scenes,” he added.

During the screening, Manglona said they will also present a production that features the activities of the manamko’ at the Aging Center which include dance performances and comical skits.

He said during the screening of the movie, a drop box  will be available for those who wish to make donations for the manamko’.

“The Enchantress” is a fundraising activity for the manamko’s trip to Guam this June, Manglona said.
