Tickets to manamko’ movie sold out

Half of the tickets for the second screening on March 21 have also been sold.

“The Enchantress” will also be screened on March 27 and 28 in the theater room of American Memorial Park.

Manglona said the ticket sales indicate the community’s appreciation for the project.

“I hope they will come and watch it,” he added.

During the production of “The Enchantress,” he noted the talents and abilities of senior citizens in acting and choreography.

“They have potentials,” he said.

During the start of the filming, however, Manglona said some of the cast members were “shy and reluctant” to display their talents before the camera.

When they eventually showed their acting skills, Manglona re-shot some scenes.

Mary Alen Conrad, who played the role of a witch in “The Enchantress, told Variety she learned to be “emotional and scary” while doing the film.

Mila Garin, who starred in two Philippine movies, said she had to “refresh” her acting abilities.

Last week, the cast of “The Enchantress” performed a segment of the movie before the media as part of their promotional efforts.

“The Enchantress” is a fundraising activity for the manamko’s scheduled trip to Guam this June.
