OPERATED and owned by Bridge Investment Group LLC, Tinian Diamond Suites held a soft opening on Sept. 1.

“It is perfectly situated opposite the House of Taga and consists of 40 units which are mostly two-bedroom suites,” said Hotel and F&B Manager Clint Albert.

He said BIG, which also owns Tinian Diamond Hotel, also took part in the municipal government’s Labor Day celebration.

“We contributed to the ‘Employee of The Year’ award by providing a two-night stay gift certificate as a token of support for the excellent service of the employee year,” Albert added.

“With the opening of the Tinian Diamond Suites, we are now offering more than 50 rooms available for people traveling to Tinian,” he said.

“We are also offering additional services such as car rental and breakfast for the guests’ convenience. And what’s best is both hotels have just recently launched a special long-staying rate offering a huge discount for guests staying for more than 30 days. This helps the lack of available housing/rentals on island especially for military personnel or contractors who are staying for a few months on the beautiful island of Tinian,” Albert said.

Tinian Mayor Edwin P. Aldan led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of Tinian Diamond Suites.

“The management and team of BIG would like to thank Mayor Aldan and his constituents for making our opening possible,” Albert said.

Albert said one of the highlights of the day was Tinian Diamond Suites’ spin-a-prize wheel that was set up for the municipal government’s Labor Day event.

“People in attendance would just register and ‘like’ our Facebook page to get a chance to spin the wheel and win prizes such as a one-night stay gift certificate. It was a hit during the event and gave the public a glimpse of what’s to come when the casino opens,” he added, referring to the Tinian Diamond Casino.

“The Tinian Diamond Suites opened in preparation for the opening of the Tinian Diamond Casino, hopefully in October,” he said.

“The company is hiring for the hotel and the casino and has high hopes to hire most of these openings locally. The positions are for front desk clerks, housekeeping attendants for the hotel, and cage cashiers, security officers and table game dealers for the casino,” Albert added.

As for their other goals, Albert said, “BIG plans to upgrade its facilities and properties to make Tinian a go-to staycation option for people from Saipan and to also tap into the CNMI tourism market so visitors can extend their stay in the Marianas by staying over and enjoying what Tinian has to offer.”

He thanked the local community and people of Tinian for their continued support.

“Please like our social media pages with links available on our website and see all updates about the new job openings,” Albert said.
