If confirmed by the Senate, Kiyoshi will serve another four-year term or until Feb. 24, 2013.
“The governor and I are confident that Mr. Kiyoshi is qualified and will be an asset on this important board,” said Villagomez who made the nomination while he was the acting governor late last month.
Gov. Benigno R. Fitial went to Washington, D.C. last month to attend several national meetings.
Kiyoshi was told to submit copies of his resume, statement of financial interest and drug test receipt and drug test result to the Senate Committee on Executive Appointments.
