THE 19th Tinian Municipal Council has adopted Resolution 19TMC-3 in recognition of JC Café and its contributions to the island community.
JC Café owner Neal Eisgrou and operations manager Lot Bunao received a copy of the resolution from Tinian Municipal Council Chairman Jose E. Santos, Vice Chairwoman Ana Marie C. San Nicolas and Secretary Estevan P. Cabrera in the Tinian Mayor’s Office conference room on Friday morning.
According to the resolution, Tinian has experienced economic challenges in the past, “to the extent where some businesses have permanently closed.” But the island has been fortunate to have businesses like JC Café, the resolution continued.
Founded in 1991, JC Café is now one of the well-known and long-standing businesses on Tinian. It has “withstood economically challenging times and continues to operate to this day….”
The resolution stated that JC Café has established itself as a reputable business and has been known to volunteer and donate time and resources to community events and functions. These include hosting Mes Manamko’ activities, the in-kind donations to the Tinian Office of Aging, taking part in community civic activities like the Tinian Pika Festival and the coastal cleanup, to name a few.
The 19th Tinian Municipal Council extends its gratitude to JC Café for its contribution to the Tinian community and wishes for its continued success.
