Sablan will be discussing his first months representing the Northern Marianas in the Washington, taking questions about issues important to CNMI residents, and asking for public input on legislation currently before the U.S. Congress.
Some of the issues expected to be discussed are expanding educational opportunities for the people of the Northern Marianas, the transition to federal immigration, energy alternatives for the commonwealth, environmental protection, and the services that the congressman’s office can provide directly to constituents.
