Superior Court Judge Joseph Camacho has found probable cause for the arrest of Yu Hua Wang, 34, and Jun Qing Chen, 36, on Monday.
They are being held on charges of possession and trafficking of “ice,” and resisting arrest.
Camacho imposed $60,000 bail for each of the defendants who were remanded to the custody of the Department of Corrections after yesterday’s hearing.
Drug Enforcement Task Force Detective Dennis Reyes was the government’s witness.
Assistant Attorney General Nicole Driscoll represented the government.
Assistant Public Defender Benjamin Petersburg was appointed as Wang’s counsel, while the court had yet to appoint counsel for Chen.
Authorities executed a search warrant that led to the defendants’ arrest in Fina Sisu.
The case was filed under seal, Variety was told.
