CNMI Emergency Operations Center State Warning Point, in conjunction with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas Guam, would like to inform the general public that the military will be conducting training on Tinian and Saipan from May 6 to 12, 2024, from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
The locations include Mt. Tapochau on Saipan, the Tinian Exclusive Military Use Area, Tinian North Field, Tinian West Field, Tinian Chulu Beach, and in the open ocean.
Marine vessels are advised to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast, notice to mariners, for advisories and remain clear of the areas for the duration of the events.
Acting Gov. David M. Apatang said residents in the areas surrounding the training exercises should not be alarmed if they hear or see increased training activity.
