RELENTLESS community volunteer Max Aguon has been finding illegally dumped household items in various areas of Saipan.
Aguon said he found a used toilet bowl, window type air condition among others dump at Navy Hill basketball last December 16.
Aguon is once again asking the community’s cooperation in maintaining the cleanliness of the island by disposing their trash responsibly.
Last Saturday, according to Aguon together with another volunteer, Aikiki Alexander, collected more than 1,000 lbs of trash in major public areas.
Aguon also told Variety that the reported stolen blower from the Parks and Recreation office in as Lito was found by an employee, Thom Demapan, as he was cleaning the surrounding area for a Christmas event last Friday.
Aguon said the employee was bush-cutting the grass near the Parks and Rec office when he stumbled upon the blower.
Last Sept. 4, the Department of Public Safety has arrested two individuals suspected of burglarizing the Parks and Recreation office last Aug. 17. Some of the reported items stolen were – bush-cutters, a battery pack, a blower, and a container of gas.
