CNMI Military and Veterans Affairs Executive Director Ruth Coleman said there could be hundreds of veterans residing in the CNMI who are not availing of the benefits.
Coleman said enrolment for the VA healthcare program has been going on for a long time but some veterans are still not aware of it.
“We are once again urging all the veterans to visit us, or your family members if they qualify for the VA healthcare plan,” Coleman said.
She is also extending the invitation to veterans who are in prepositioned ships.
“If you are not a veteran but know someone who is, you can also reach out and help them register,” she added.
