THE Department of Public Safety on Friday evening said it has been “made aware of videos going viral of a group of individuals who were assaulting a person inside a vehicle. We can confirm that the video is related to the taxi operator who was beaten and robbed on December 10. DPS CIB is actively in the process of investigating the content and the perpetrators in the video. We ask the community who may have information of the individuals involved to contact DPS.”
