“We will be starting slow — we are reopening three days a week, Monday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.,” she added.
The Visitor Center, which has been closed since March 18, will reopen to the public starting Nov. 16.
“It’ll be open three days a week, and from there we will see how it goes,” Nevitt said.

“We are limiting the number of people inside the exhibit — we have a max capacity, and if we reach it, people will need to wait outside, and then take turns” in entering the center, she added.
The theater and the bookstore will remain closed, but the staff will be available to assist patrons at the center, Nevitt said.
The National Park Service administers American Memorial Park, which “honors the American and Marianas people who gave their lives during the Marianas Campaign of World War II.”
