In an interview with Variety, Heavenly said she finds Filipino hospitality “rare and amazing.”
“As I go around Manila during the pre-pageant festivities, I feel so wonderful and so welcomed,” she said. “It’s a great feeling, especially the support that the locals provide. The most memorable experience so far was the motorcade that they hosted for us in Cebu. We went around in decorated trucks and all the people were standing on the side of the roads just shouting that they love us, throwing kisses, showing support. That was the most memorable experience, and it was so amazing to feel that kind of support.”
She said winning a pageant award would be “incredibly meaningful.”
“It would not only signify the support and love from my fans and my islands of the Northern Marianas, but it would also validate my efforts and inspire me to work harder in promoting sustainability,” she said. “Recognition would also inspire me to keep advocating for environmental issues and encouraging others to join the movement. Ultimately, it would be a powerful reminder that, together, we can make a significant impact on our communities for our planet. Thank you for your believing in me!”
