Water service interruption in Garapan and Lower Miha

(Commonwealth Utilities Corporation) — There will be a scheduled water service interruption affecting customers in Garapan and Lower Miha on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Areas affected:  Garapan (Beach Road) and Lower Miha (Micro Beach Rd., Adetfa St., Kalachucha Ave., and Kamia Ave.

Purpose:  To allow CUC’s contractor, Hong Ye Construction, to relocate a fire hydrant.

About the project

The Lower Miha Sewer Line Replacement is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  This project is designed to provide a more reliable sewer system. The transition work is part of the decommissioning of the old sewer line and will be replaced with PVC pipes.

Customers in the area will experience low to no water pressure between the specified hours. Please allow one to two hours for the water lines to pressurize fully.
