Weekend Halloween events

“Thriller Night, a Tribute to Michael Jackson” event brings on stage Saipan’s hottest batch of young talents — Project Impact Dancers, Shonique Dance Crew, Final Destination, Rock-a-Beat dancers, Elements dance crew and other performers.

Tomorrow’s event will also feature the participants of the first Youth Dance Clinic in partnership with the Pacific Wellness Center and the Project Impact dance crew in their recital.

Event coordinator Sharmaine Casquero said the entrance fee is $5 per person inclusive of one drink.

Halloween story time

Children are encouraged to be at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library tomorrow at 10 in the morning for  Halloween story time.

Broadway musical show

“The Darker Side of Broadway” will be staged tonight and tomorrow night at the American Memorial Park Visitor Center Theater.

Presented by the Friends of the Arts, the show features musical selection from three Broadway hits: “Jekyll & Hyde,” “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,” and “Wicked: A New Musical.” The director is Paul Dujua.

Violinists from Ao Zhang’s Do Re Mi School of Music are also featured: Zhen Yu Su, Christa Wei, Maria Balajadia, Xiao Mei Su, Tatiana Calvo, Colin Fruit, Yu Jung Lee, Alan Yang Tudela, Aaron Lee, Richard Quan and Zhen Yu Su

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for Friends of the Arts members, and $10 for students.

Seasonal tickets are also available for $40 each,  good for four shows for the whole season.
