He said he could not discuss the information.
“We’re not giving up,” he added. “We will continue our search. We appeal to the members of the public for their continued prayers and to be more watchful of developments in their surroundings or neighborhood.”
Quitugua said their family was assured of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s commitment to solve the case that authorities have described as “baffling.”
He thanked the men and women of the Department of Public Safety who continue searching and investigating the disappearance of his grandchildren.
DPS Commissioner Ramon C. Mafnas and Press Secretary Angel Demapan assured members of the public that they will continue to be updated regarding the investigation and search for Faloma and Maleina Luhk.
The total reward money for any information leading to the recovery of the sisters or prosecution of person or persons behind their disappearance is now $50,000.
