The 18 individuals who completed the training are Thelma Ada, Imelda Benavente, Carmen Cabrera, Erin Angela Camacho, Frankie Castro, Thomas Castro, Julie Mae Cruz, Giovannie Gomez, Hermis Jim, Estella Kaipat, Barbara Pangelinan, Ponce Rasa, Pauline Roligat, Roma Nei Romolar, Leila Jo Rosario, Luisa Le Santos, Irene Sigrah, and Fabian Ulloa.
The objective of the course was to ensure that the participants are able to define communication and distinguish between effective and ineffective communication techniques as well as cite common barriers to effective communication. In addition, the participants of the course learned how to apply listening skills, identify body language, and discuss the importance of good attitude in the communication process.
This training helped the staff members of the WIC program improve their communication skills in order to better serve the people they work with.
