The event consisted of guest speakers, door prizes, and time of fellowship.
The occasion was put together for women of different churches to come together, have fellowship, and receive encouragement through sharing with each other and listening to different speakers of different walks of life in hopes of bettering one another.
One attendee shared her feelings on the importance of fellowship: “Through fellowship we encourage and support each other. We embrace the different groups of women in our diverse community. We bring each other up as well as bring up strong community relationships.”
The guest speakers discussed their life stories including both moments of strife and joy. Some attendees of the luncheon described the speeches made as delightful, humorous, empowering, and emotional.
