Deloitte & Touche conducted the training at the Small Business Development Center from 8 a.m. to noon each day.
It was the continuation of the training first held in May of this year.
This session focused on government procurement with emphasis on two areas: the procurement laws and regulations for Yap, the FSM national government and the U.S. government.
The second part discussed procurement procedures and requirements applicable to funding sourced by Yap appropriations, FSM national government appropriations, U.S. federal programs and Compact sector grants.
Deloitte & Touche expressed interest to schedule meetings with any office that may wish to have a separate discussion on work-related financial management issues.
