There were also delegations from Guam, the CNMI, the FSM national government and other FSM states, American Samoa and Palau.
This annual conference is sponsored by the American Cancer Society to bring people together who are concerned with efforts to increase control or reduce cancer cases in the region and to bring under control substances that are responsible causes of cancer, i.e., the prevalent use of tobacco products.
The conference and associate meetings of the combined program directors meeting and leadership institute meeting commenced Monday, June 7.
The meeting of the combined program directors meeting was also held on the same day while the Comprehensive Cancer Control Leadership Institute started on Tuesday. The conference concluded on Wednesday June 9.
