The Outer Island Board Members are in Yap for the summer. The briefing included the election board members for the Neighboring Islands Special Polling in Yap proper.
The group had focused its discussions based on guidelines and schedule being prepared for the briefing by the election commission. The office has issued a statement to the public in relation the election.
The election commissioner has sworn in 4 new board members for Election District No. 2 consisting the four islands in Ulithi Atoll namely Fathrai, Mogmog, Asor and Falalop, Fais, Ngulu, and Sorol and Election District No.3 which consists of all five islands in Woleai Atoll, Falalap, Tegailap, Seliap, Wottegai and Falalus.
