The training, which is part of the bioterrorism program under the Department of Health and Social Affairs, will be conducted at the ESA Family Restaurant from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on those days.
Classes and instructional material will be facilitated by John Scott of Ampro Inc. of Guam.
The overall aim of the training is to strengthen institutional capacity including skills upgrade for first responders and receivers in an emergency situation.
It is recommended and expected that all members of the Yap hazmat team will be participating in the training.
The first four days of the workshop will be interactive sessions while the final day will be simulative exercises.
Anefal has designated the Department of Health Services and Office of Planning and Budget to handle internal coordination of the training.
