Its president, John Robinson, said they are “quietly” running the foundation which supports youth organizations on island.
Aside from the $20,000 they donated to Saipan’s first skate park, the foundation also donated $10,000 to the Micronesian Games a few years ago, he said.
They continue to solicit assistance from business establishments on Saipan to replenish the perpetual fund that is made available to youth organizations.
Robinson’s wife, Guadalupe, served as Tenorio’s special assistant for youth.
Robinson said donated funds remained intact even after Tenorio lost his bid for a second term in 1997, so they decided to maintain the perpetual fund.
