Zoning board approves Shalom Church’s conditional use application permit

Permit applicant Sae Young Kim said Shalom Church was located in As Lito, but their contract was not renewed so they have to move to Tun Joaquin Doi Road in Fina Sisu.

The church will have a dining area, an office, storage area, restrooms and a worship area.

According to the zoning office, the project is permitted in the district as a conditional use in a village residential zone.

The zoning board members who approved the application were Tatiana Babauta, Joe Ayuyu Jr., Frank Aguon, Perry A. Inos Jr.  and Kevin C. Guerrero.

Zoning Administrator Geralyn Dela Cruz said the applicant should comply with the requirements of all regulatory agencies with jurisdiction over the process.

In addition, the applicant must ensure that its operation does not generate noise, odor, light or dust that will affect the neighborhood.

Moreover, it must improve its parking area and designate clearly marked parking stalls in front of its establishment.

The applicant must also apply for a sign permit from the zoning office before any sign is installed.
