Arrested was Mandigo Iyechad.
Iyechad was driving his vehicle under the influence of alcohol when police officers spotted him at 5:35 am on Thursday.Iyechad was heading west and was passing by Island mart.A police report indicated that he overtake several vehicles and was driving recklessly when officers spotted him.A brief chase ensued between Iyechad and the police.Iyachad’s vehicle was pulled over later.Police administered a test on Iyechad after they observed him to be driving under the influence of alcohol.Iyechad failed the test and was later arrested for DUI and reckless driving.On May 11 at 7 pm, a negligent driving incident was also reported to the police in Meyuns.Police said a woman called and reported that their vehicle was hit by a gray station wagon and the vehicle fled afterwards.The wagon reportedly proceeded to Kelau gym in Meyuns.Police responded to the scene and found the wagon abandoned at the Kelau gym in Meyuns.
