The man was identified as Lansang Abraham, 21, Palauan.
Police reports disclosed that at around 3:07 a.m. while police officers were conducting a routine patrol, they found Abraham very drunk while hanging around in front of the Neco Palaza in Ngerbeched hamlet. He approached the police officers and threatened to fight with them.
Police arrested Abraham and brought him to the office. He was booked and confined after he sobered up. Police issued him citation afterwards.
Meanwhile, a 26-year-old Korean national was rushed to the hospital after he was struck by a suspect while pacifying a fight in Medalaii on Oct. 25.
Police identified the victim as Pyong Ho Kevin Kwak; while the suspect was identified as Marky Rengiil Jr., Palauan.
According to the police report, Kwak was pacifying Rengiel who was fighting with another male Palauan inside Mona’s Kitchen. But instead, Rengiel hit the victim on the eye with a hard object.
Kwak sustained laceration in the right eye. Responding officers rushed the victim to the hospital for medical treatment.
The case is pending further investigation.
