The victim sustained injuries in the fingers when the suspect attacked him with a knife.
Patrol Division Acting Chief Peter Napoleon said that the incident happened on Saturday afternoon in Ikelau road by Officers Pub.
The suspect approached the victim and asked for cigarette.
The victim refused which irked the suspect and attacked him with a knife.
The victim managed to block the attack and got stabbed in the right hand.
The victim sustained injuries between the thumb and index finger.
In other news, two other men were also attacked.
The first incident was reported to the police on Thursday night in Ngesaol.
The victim was punched in the face and mouth by the suspect.
The suspect also chased the victim’s wife with plywood at their house in Ngesaol.
Napoleon said the incident is still under investigation.
The second incident happened on Friday night in Meketii road.
The victim and his companion were aboard a vehicle when pulled over by some guys standing at Meketii road by the old Koror State office.
The police report stated that one of the suspects with no reason at all, approached the vehicle and struck the victim’s left cheek with a sharp object.
The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The incident is still under investigation.
