Jason Bodo Skebong was released from custody after he posted $1,000 surety bond on February 24.
Associate Justice Alexandra F. Foster ordered Skebong to stay away from the victim and his family.Skebong was ordered to obey all laws while on bail.His preliminary hearing is set for Friday, March 6 at 9 am.Skebong was charged for sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy.The victim accompanied by his parents went to the police station on November 26 and reported that he was abused by the defendant.The police affidavit submitted in court stated that the victim told investigators of the Criminal Investigation Section that on October 21, 2008, the defendant brought the victim to his apartment in Meyuns.According to the affidavit, Skebong asked the victim to play hide-and-seek with him.The affidavit further stated that when the defendant found where the victim was hiding, the defendant pushed the victim against the wall and started abusing him.The affidavit stated that the defendant called the victim’s sister and apologized for what he had done to the victim.
