Assistant Attorney General Ronald K. Ledgerwood have charged Delboi Baiel, Harry “Kobito” Robot and Sambal Espangel with one count of conspiracy to illegally take undersized green sea turtle, seven counts of conspiracy to illegally fish for and possess humphead parrotfish, one count of conspiracy to illegally fish for and possess coral grouper out of season, eight counts of aiding and abetting illegally fishing for and possession of humphead parrotfish, one count of aiding and abetting illegally fishing for and possession of coral grouper out of season, eight counts of accessory to illegally fishing for and possession of humphead parrotfish, one count of accessory to illegally taking undersized green sea turtle and one count of accessory to illegally fishing for and possession of coral grouper out of season.Robot and Espangel were separately charged with one count of illegally taking undersized green sea turtle, seven counts of illegally fishing for and possessing humphead parrotfish and one count of illegally fishing for and possessing coral grouper out of season.The affidavit submitted in Supreme Court stated that the three defendants were arrested for the said crimes and were taken to the Koror jail.The affidavit stated that the three went fishing on April 21 and April 23 at the Ngermid, Koror.The defendants admitted of spearing the green sea turtle, the coral grouper out of season and the juvenile humphead parrotfish and other legal reef fish.
