HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — The man who turned himself in to police on Wednesday morning was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
After the Guam Police Department issued a wanted flyer for Adrian Bernard Fejeran, who was sought for questioning relative to two criminal investigations, he self-surrendered at the Tamuning precinct on Wednesday morning.
According to GPD, after being interviewed, Fejeran was arrested in connection to a shooting and a separate assault and family violence investigation.
“An interview was conducted whereas Fejeran confessed to shooting at (victim) in Humåtak, several times out of anger and was willing to provide the location of the Glock 45 mos (0.9 mm), which was registered to his mother,” GPD stated in a press release issued Wednesday afternoon.
GPD did not indicate when the alleged shooting took place.
Fejeran was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, aggravated assault, use of a deadly weapon, reckless conduct, discharge of a firearm, and possession of a firearm without valid ID.
Family violence
Fejeran was also arrested on suspicion of assault, family violence and criminal mischief.
According to the GPD release, Fejeran allegedly admitted to getting into an altercation with his girlfriend “sometime last year” when they were both throwing things out into the yard.
“He claimed that as he threw flower pots, his girlfriend walked into it and the pot struck her in the face,” the release stated.
Fejeran has since been booked and confined to the Department of Corrections. The case has also been closed and forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for their information and disposition.
