The Nonprofit Toolkit training is designed to provide an understanding of the basic activities that need to be accomplished to establish a nonprofit organization. The curriculum includes information on how to incorporate as a nonprofit organization, organizational documents to be developed, and securing federal recognition as a charitable organization 501(c)(3) status. It also introduces the roles and responsibilities of the board of directors, strategic planning, managing the organization, and the steps required to develop a community-based project.
Doors open at 8:30 to allow networking among participants. Refreshments will be provided.
