Martina Joey Tenorio Ada graduates magna cum laude from Washington State University

A DAUGHTER of Saipan, Martina Joey Tenorio Ada, has graduated magna cum laude from Washington State University in Vancouver, Washington.

Ada received the second highest Latin distinction in obtaining a bachelor of arts degree in human development.

She is the daughter of Commissioner of Education Dr. Alfred B. Ada and Frances Tenorio Ada.

On Saipan, Martina Ada attended William S. Reyes and San Vicente elementary schools, Chacha Oceanview Middle School, and Marianas High School for the first two years of her high school.

She completed her secondary education at Centennial High School in Gresham, Oregon.

Martina Ada told Variety that she plans to gain experience on the mainland before moving back to Saipan.

“With enough experience, I hope that I will have the opportunity to serve the children of the CNMI,” she added.
