MCDONALD’S of Saipan congratulates Kagman Elementary school for placing second in the fundraising campaign, “Race to Raise.” The school won $3,000 for getting their faculty, staff, students, and families to participate and fundraise for a great cause, collecting a total of 240 tickets.
McDonald’s hosted a fundraising campaign for all CNMI public elementary schools that started on March 1, 2023 and ended on March 19, 2023.
The fundraising campaign encouraged all who purchased meals at restaurants to drop their receipts with a minimum purchase of $15 into a drop box labeled with the elementary school they would like to support.
The campaign was a friendly competition among public elementary schools to win a cash prize of up to $5,000.
This is truly a donation in support of education in the CNMI.
McDonald’s of Saipan believes that school fundraising gets families and the community involved, while improving the students’ teamwork.
Joe Ayuyu Sr., Jose Ayuyu Sr., McDonald’s Guam-Saipan president, said: “McDonald’s values integrity, community, and family, and we are passionate for the young generation to learn and develop important skills for their bright futures.”
