(Commonwealth Utilities Corp.) — At 10:25 a.m., Thursday, July 29, CUC experienced a power outage caused by a mechanical problem on Engine No. 2 at Power Plant I in Lower Base.
As of 1 p.m. Thursday, CUC said its power plant staff had made the necessary repairs and re-energized Feeders 1 , 2, 3, 4 , 7, Kiyas 1 , 2 and Kiyas 3 and 4 would be energized soon.
