The mission will be composed of representatives of the chiropractic and medical community of Guam such as Dr. Rod White, Dr. Roger Martinez, and Dr. Bernard Stupski representatives from Guam Medical Association and the Guam Chiropractic Council
“As representatives of the chiropractic and medical community of Guam we are concerned about the needs of our Palauan neighbors especially with the last outbreak in the past month, “Dr. Martinez said in an email message.Martinez said, “historically, chiropractic has been known as a an effective remedy to neck and low back pain. However, what has been overlooked for several generations is the effectiveness of the chiropractic adjustment as a immunogenic enhancer especially against/specifically opportunistic viruses such as the influenza virus. So with proper hygiene and effective education in building strong immunity will help enhance defenses to this H1N1 Virus.”Dr. Martinez and Dr. White are both chiropractic physicians more than five years and have well established practices in Guam. With discussions with Dr. Yano and Dr. Roberts Dr. Roger Martinez has determined that there is a dire need for chiropractic care in Palau.Martinez said that initial visit to Palau as a goodwill outreach to teach and implement the powerful and effectiveness of the chiropractic adjustment. The team is tentatively scheduled to arrive in Palau August 28-31.
